Haskell Indian Nations University
The Kwek Society is proud and excited to partner with Haskell Indian Nations University. Haskell is the premiere tribal university in the United States, offering quality education to Native American students. Haskell’s student population averages about 1,000 per semester, all students are members of federally recognized tribes, and Haskell’s faculty and staff are predominantly native. Haskell’s mission is critical to Indigenous communities’ successes: to build the leadership capacity of its students by serving as the leading institution of academic excellence, cultural and intellectual prominence, and holistic education that addresses the needs of Indigenous communities. With the administrative support of Supervisory Librarian Carrie Cornelius, and the generosity of our donors — including the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation — Haskell students returning to campus in Fall 2022 are finding our period supplies stocking bathrooms across campus, including in the dorms.
