Nenahnezad Community School

Nenahnezad Community School is a large Bureau of Indian Education-funded school situated near the banks of the San Juan River in northern Navajo Nation. The school’s stated vision is to grow students with eyes to the future and hearts in the past. It “focus[es] on improving students’ skills with tools and technology to prepare them in a rapidly advancing world, but to remember and practice the culture and values that their Navajo elders embrace.”  The Kwek Society supports about 75 NCS students with moon time care products.
