Schulter Public Schools

Schulter, Oklahoma

In October 2024, we added the three schools that comprise Schulter Public Schools on the Muscogee (Creek) Reservation to our partner list. Chelsye Deaton oversees this very small rural school district’s Indian Education Program and operates a care closet out of her fourth-grade classroom. She requested our support, sharing that their receipt of our high-quality period care items and puberty books would empower her students and enhance their confidence.

We started our partnership with shipments of cotton underwear, period pads, and tampons, along with the books Chelsye selected, and coordinated Schulter’s receipt of sports bras from the nonprofit Bras for Girls.
