Bloomfield School District

During our April 2025 school visit to the Central Consolidated School District, we learned that its neighbor district, Bloomfield School District, needed period care items. BSD’s attendance area covers about 1,500 square miles in an area referred to as the “Four Corners”; it serves about 3,000 students. About 1/3 of BSD students are Diné (Navajo). After a meeting with BSD’s District Nurse, we agreed to provide the five schools of BSD students at risk for period poverty with the supplies they need to remain in school, play sports, and continue to thrive.
