School District of Crandon

In September 2025 the Executive Council of the Forest County Potawatomi Community – after sending us a generous check in support of our work – introduced us to the School District of Crandon’s administrative staff and its district nurse Jasee Novak. In that introduction, the Executive Council noted that, if appropriate, they would appreciate our providing students within the FCPC access to the resources we provide. 

We were thrilled to pursue the introduction and, in short order, added the School District of Crandon’s 3 schools to our partnership roster. The district serves both the Forest County Potawatomi and the Sokaogon Chippewa Communities. In mid-September we directed to Crandon students our initial shipment of period care items requested, including packages of organic pads and puberty education books. And our friends at ANA are sending on 400 moon time bags that ANA volunteers have sewed and filled with period care items for students.
