School Nurse Cristina Gonzalez reached out to us in October 2025 at the suggestion of our dear friend Jenn RunsCloseToLodge (Wyoming Indian Schools), with whom we’ve partnered since 2019. The district’s mission is to empower students to acquire a rigorous education through effective academic instruction, becoming fluent Hinono’eitiit (Arapahoe Language) speakers who encourage a strong identity and embrace their cultural heritage, building on their resilience to flourish in an ever-changing world. School nurse Cristina advised that some 100 students in the three-stack school district could use our help. We got right to work to get them the full range of supplies we offer so that they can continue to flourish.
