Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College
Mount Pleasant, Michigan

Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College is a two-year public college founded in 1998. It currently offers four associate degree programs, including business, liberal arts, general science, and Native American studies, and is developing a four-year Native American studies degree. Dr. Gena Qualls, SCTC’s Dean of Institutional Advancement, contacted us in Fall 2024. Our partnership with SCTC started with an initial shipment of tampons, pads, liners, and Saalt-donated menstrual cups. Dr. Qualls sent a number of photos, including the one below showing our products available in school restrooms, and provided this feedback immediately upon receiving the shipment:
“We are so excited to be partnered with you on Ending Period Poverty! I have received our shipment and distributed the products throughout the restrooms. I have also posted your FAQ handout to our Learning Management System for all staff and students to read. I also posted a link to your website for more information.”
