Katishtya, the Pueblo of San Felipe, is located at the foot of the Black Mesa in the Rio Grande Valley of New Mexico. The Kwek Society joined forces with Principal Colletta Wilson in January 2021 to ensure her students at San Felipe Pueblo Elementary School have the period supplies and period education books they need to celebrate their moon times with dignity. During our November 2021 site visits we met the school’s new principal, Arlene Atencio, who continues to welcome our support of student moon times.
